Your Role

We are looking for a Junior Receptionist to join our team and support front desk operations across two hotel locations. As a Junior Receptionist, you will provide friendly and attentive guest assistance while focusing on foundational hospitality tasks under close supervision. This entry-level role offers opportunities for professional growth and development within the organization. You will play an important role in delivering excellent guest service and supporting efficient hotel operations, with potential to grow and advance in your career.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily reception tasks under close supervision and guidance.  
  • Make limited independent decisions; escalate complex issues to senior receptionists or management.  
  • Welcome guests warmly, provide basic information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.  
  • Assist with reservations, check-in/out procedures, and handle routine phone inquiries professionally.  
  • Complete assigned tasks promptly and accurately.  
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.  
  • Collaborate closely with hotel staff and senior receptionists to ensure smooth operations.  
  • Learn and utilize hotel management software and administrative systems effectively.  
  • Seek frequent guidance to manage guest interactions and operational procedures accurately.  
  • Multilingual communication skills are considered an asset.  
  • Learn from mistakes, viewing them as opportunities for professional growth.  
  • Actively participate in training and development opportunities. 

Requirements

  • Friendly personality and excellent customer service skills to warmly welcome guests and assist with basic inquiries.
  • Ability to perform foundational front desk tasks accurately under supervision, including reservations and check-in/out procedures.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop proficiency in hotel management software and administrative systems.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at the reception area.
  • Effective teamwork, collaboration with hotel staff, and openness to professional training and feedback.

The Junior Receptionist plays an important role in delivering excellent guest service and supporting efficient hotel operations, with opportunities to grow within the organization.
