TrackGPS is the largest proprietary product of AROBS Transilvania Software, representing a fleet management software solution currently used by over 8,000 clients in Romania and successfully implemented for 100,000 vehicles.
Continuously developed over 18 years, the TrackGPS web and mobile applications are designed for fleet managers who aim to streamline their activities by reducing costs and optimizing compliance with current legal norms. Fleet data is collected in real time and it is used to generate various reports and analyses. These reports are easy to interpret, enabling fleet managers to make informed decisions to enhance efficiency.
.NET Developer responsibilities include participating in the entire software development life cycle, debugging applications and configuring existing systems. If you’re equally happy to roll up your sleeves to write code and review other team members’ work, we’d like to meet you!
Responsabilities:
- Develop and implement web components and web applications within the TrackGPS (www.trackgps.ro) product development team
- Create technical design and offer solutions based on related technology;
- Maintain web application and windows & web services;
- Active role in development process;
- Maintain existing documentation based on current procedures;
- Ensure application security and compatibility of developed code with existing modules;
- May be part of project lifecycle, with added value on contribution to code improvement existing services or current architecture.
Requirements:
- University degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Automation, Informatics etc.);
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position;
- Ability to work independently, as well with a team, and within tight deadlines;
- Ability to analyze and solve technical challenges and possible issues;
- Ability to work efficiently and be proactive;
- Must be oriented on results;
- Deep knowledge of Object Oriented Programming;
- Experience with ASP .NET Web Forms;
- Needs to understand WCF;
- Knowledge of: C#, MS SQL & Store;
- Procedures, Javascript, JQuery, .NET Framework;
- Experience with web services (REST/SOAP);
- Experience with reporting tools: RDLC, ReportViewer, SSRS it’s a plus;
- Experience with front-end technologies it’s a plus.
