What you will do:

Development of schematics and circuits for vehicle electrical & electronic components interfacing

Design and validation of low & high voltage automotive power distribution

Component (wires, fuses, contactors, relays, connectors) sizing and selection with due consideration for appropriate design factors

Reviews with component owners for correct input data

Design to recognized standards and best practices for automotive wiring

Deliver 2D drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams

Manages wiring complexity for different vehicle variants (give away, CKD)

Job requirements:

Relevant experience in a similar position within the automotive industry

Good understanding of vehicle electrical loads and wiring

Familiar with automotive development processes

An Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent is a must
