     Our partner is one of the youngest Group entities that provides billing services to France, Italy, Middle-East, Romania, Spain and Croatia. The services are based on high tech consumptions transmissions from sub metering systems for water, heat and cooling utilities – especially in apartment buildings and commercial properties.

Job Location: Bucharest / Remote

Job Purpose:

     Design and development of software solutions to address complex business challenges. Acting as high-level decision maker in the process, determining everything from conceptual choices to technical guidelines, such as platforms and coding standards.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the further development and optimization of our International system landscape;


• Collaborate throughout the entire IT architecture management process and support the implementation of the global IT strategy;


• Evaluate the system landscape as well as the conception and design of scalable and high-performance target architectures using current and innovative architectural approaches and technologies;


• Assist and contribute to application development, while providing architectural support for agile, Internationally distributed development teams;


• Directly interact with relevant stakeholders across multiple departments for technical evaluations and conceptual drafts;


• Analyse and evaluate the impact of technological trends.

Requirements:

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, engineering or similar areas of study;


• Relevant professional experience in the IT environment, contribution to large, complex projects as IT Architect, Software Architect or Senior Developer;


• Very good technical and methodical competence, as well as experience in the conception of systems, integration solutions and software design;


• Very good knowledge of at least one of the following technology domains: Enterprise Java, .NET, integration technologies (SOA, REST, Micro-services, Event Processing), Cloud Computing, mobile or web technologies (. HTML, SPA, native/hybrid app development), SAP ERP;


• Fluency in English;


• German skills – optional, considered an advantage;


• Good knowledge of Scrum techniques and artefacts is considered an advantage (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement);


• High level of persuasiveness, flexibility, as well as ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams;


• Pronounced drive to perform paired with the willingness to assume responsibility;


• Communicative and assertive personality;


• International travel readiness for participating to workshops or occasional project related meetings.
