A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field — we also welcome experienced career changers with relevant expertise;
5–7 years of hands-on experience with the SAP WM module, along with solid exposure to related modules such as SD, MM, PP, FI, and CO — ideally within the automotive sector;
Strong background in project and process management, with a proven ability to drive initiatives from concept to completion;
In-depth knowledge of warehouse management processes and documentation, mobile scanning technologies, transportation workflows (LE-TRA), goods movements, and inventory control;
Experience with SAP EWM is highly desirable;
Familiarity with cross-module integration in SAP, plus initial exposure to S/4HANA and Fiori;
Basic understanding of ABAP and form technologies is a plus;
Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Responsibilities:
Take ownership of IT Application Management and Inhouse Consulting with a focus on SAP Warehouse Management, working closely with both business and IT stakeholders across production sites in Germany, Romania, Poland, and Mexico;
Lead and coordinate SAP WM-related projects and enhancements, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business needs;
Manage IT projects within specific subprocesses, working in close partnership with internal functional teams and, when needed, external partners;
Act as the owner of IT process interfaces between business units, IT departments, and third-party providers;
Continuously optimize existing subprocesses and contribute to the design of new, efficient workflows;
Create clear visualizations, detailed IT concepts, and comprehensive documentation for IT processes;
Support business departments in preparing business cases, defining test scenarios, and implementing quality assurance measures;
Identify, define, and track key IT process KPIs to ensure effective process management;
Collect, analyze, and standardize IT requirements from business units, providing expert guidance and implementing tailored solutions;
Provide ongoing IT support to business teams, ensuring smooth daily operations;
Identify opportunities to improve the current use of SAP WM, with a strong focus on integration with adjacent modules such as SD, MM, PP, FI, and CO.
